The foot warmers were toooo large and a few of the warmers didn't activate plus I was missing 1 of the 4 pouches in my variety pack oh and they don't last as long as hothands brand but they did get pretty darn hot for a while. And they were very reasonably pricedDue to peripheral neuropathy, my feet are always cold and this product does help with that problem for an honest 8-10 hours which is good. Compared to a competitor's product it has roughly 25% more of the chemical material (based on weight) which is also good. The instructions say to take the insoles out of their packaging and wait 3-5 minutes before putting them in your shoes and that is important to know for maximum usefulness. The bad thing is that as time goes by the chemical material changes to a small sharp gravel-like consistency that shifts to the toe area making walking uncomfortable for someone with my health problem. As an experiment, I took a meat tenderizer (the hammer type) and flatten the chemical in the insole and that helped but who wants to carry a meat tenderizer around with them?As the scorekeeper for our high school and junior hockey teams, I spend a LOT of time on the ice November through March. I love these foot warmers because they slide right in your shoes/boots and there is no adhesive. Every pair I have used have been very warm - sometimes so warm I have to take them out for a bit! When I take them out I put them in a Ziplock bag and remove the air, then I can reuse them for one or two more games (removing the air makes them stop working). I pretty much keep a pair in my purse from November through March, just in case!Unfortunately the outermost layer of this product is made out of a paper type material. After walking in them for just A couple of hours the paper layer starts to come off due to the friction of walking on them. Also the inner layer bunches up creating an uneven surface.MIRACLE PRODUCT!I HAVE PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY IN BOTH HANDS AND FEET. BOUGHT 4 BOXES.COMPRESSION SOCKS,"HOT FEET", THEN REGULAR SOCKS.IT'S LITERALLY BEEN LIKE"HEAVEN!"NO PAIN!!!!!NO MORE BURNING, STABBINGICE PICK JABSCOLD AS DRY ICE -BUT BURNS LIKE FIRE!I STAND IN THE GREATEST APPRECIATION AND RECOMENDATION FOR BOTH OF THESE MIRACLE PAIN RELIEF PRODUCTS.I HAVEN'T RESEARCHED TO SEE IF THERE ARE DANGEROUS SIDE EFFECTS!I put them in my hunting boots at 5:30a yesterday and went to deer stand, got home about 1pm, and pulled them out and they were still warm and actually got hotter which is likely skewed data related to greater contact with air when pulled out into air vs way down in boot. One reviewer said they were small, maybe so, but not an issue for me , boot size 9)....they do clump ie heating chemical pellets tend to migrate and clump towards front and could be a comfort problem on long romantic walks. included boots may help this?? May wrap one around handle of crappie rod ....no regretsI like the full coverage of the sole of the foot. Unlike the adhesive ones that are narrow and short, and move around with the sock. These slide like an insole. They also seem to last. I used them for deer hunting and seems to be as good (or slightly better) than Grabber and definitely better than Hot Hands.Local ones did not work well but when we found these husband was greatly impressed. No more cold feet shoveling
