I am a newbie runner (3-4 months) and typically run a 5k distance. I run very hot. So unless it is under 60 degrees, a tank top + capris is usually enough for me. I got these because even though I get hot once I warm up, when starting out it can be a little chilly. I tried some other brands on in a running store and did not like the tight band around the bicep they used to keep them up. These are more like a sock for your arms with uniform tension from top to bottom. They have a nice woven design on them and are also soft. They have thumb holes so you can keep your hands warm too. The only drawback I have found is that they cover up my GPS watch and since I am addicted to data, that bugs me. But that is to be expected with something that covers your wrists and arms (duh). Mid-run, I either roll them down (like socks) or take off and sticks in my waistband. The left side one was difficult to get over my GPS watch, so I just rolled it down and took off the right side. Another plus, was I kinda felt like I was wearing princess gloves ;-) With a t-shirt, these just look like you're wearing a long sleeve tee underneath. These are fantastic. I tend to get hot on my runs even when the weather cool enough for long sleeves. These stay put and don't slip down or turn. The thumb holes are great on the days that I don't want to wear gloves. I used them during my last half marathon and they were super easy to pull off and tie around my hydration belt. My arms aren't skinny either and they still fit great. Really pleased with this product.Great fit, and they don't fall down my arm nor are they too tight. I've got pretty sizable arms - not huge, but definitely muscular with a good bit of underarm swing, if you will, and these fit well, but I feel like they'd work well on smaller arms, too. Not too warm, but perfect for weather when you're starting the run at 40 degrees and finish at 55 degrees. These Oiselle armwarmers are wonderful. They fit my narrow arms well (I had to return some Asics Thermopolis arm warmers because even the size small was too big). These are soft, and are easy to roll up and down as I exercise. There is a seam on the inside, but it has not been irritating at all. I like them so much I'm considering getting a second pair!Comfortable however I found them to be very shortLove these. Great color, fits well, and they stay up (I wore them on a 16 mile run yesterday). Nice fabric, very soft. I have both the orange and the charcoal ones, and they are a staple for fall running for me.
